Little of this and a little of that
I was the same way about the retrofits but said screw it and got some. They're a hell of improvement over stock I think.

    TL; DR - Shit's happening

Home gym project started; cleared the room for the coming cable machine. The rubber flooring I picked up from Menards will work nicely up I think I'll have to put down some plywood. It's either that or rip up the carpet and put down work flooring. Cheaper option first.

Garage is coming along as well. Got the workshop organized some today too. Found a free 4-5 shelf metal unit on the side of the road in the neighborhood. Ready for the big toolbox in the next month or so. I need to start going through the Craftsman box, moving stuff over and then selling off the stuff I don't want. I will be building another shelf above the big box for now for more "semi permanent" storage. I'll also be keeping most stuff organized in bins on the shelves. Thinking that another floor to ceiling shelving unit on the back wall will be good as well; for camping equipment. Grab and go style shelving system.

So many ideas racing through my head. Definitely has been more of a dynamic process.

My brother got me a 31M battery tray from CBI for Christmas; figured that a single, bigger battery setup will be the simplest, cleanest and easiest option moving forward.

Got all my dual battery stuff together and posted it for sale. That will fund my 31M. Probably spring time. New battery, new suspension. Local opportunity first then will open to TW for shipping.

Small to-do list for the truck/parts to be installed soon:

    - new carrier bearing
    - trip to the local 4x4 shop to use their press to swap the OEM LCA bushings to the Whitelines
    - repair cracks under the battery tray for 31M upgrade
    - try not to bother @EatSleepTacos too much for the LCA enforcement pieces; that or make my own with his guidance ( hi bae)

    :goingcrazy:

Also, loving these packouts..visual post for those who loves pics and also those who can't read; like me..

Took this bolt organizer that was emptied into the packout and decided to get rid of even more of those shitty HFT containers.. really happy with the progress made today.

If you're going group 31, make your life easy and add these to the list VVV The 31 posts are usually forward, so the battery hot cable gets really stretched to the point I was worried it'd rip off.

    Good shit.

Someone posted this on the Lair maybe, IDR. I think it's a slightly different result than the Slee kit though:

    https://sdhqoffroad.com/products/sdhq-built-billet-battery-terminal-upgrade-kit

I do have some mil-spec battery terminals that I found while cleaning the garage up a bit. Oh, and I ordered these and they were delivered today:

I really need to get the cracked battery support repaired and reinforced by a welder. Got a few people I can reach out to locally. Now that the holidays are over, should have more availability.

I'd say that's a euphamism, but then again, after seeing your "cigar" collection, you might just be serious

I'm sure the adjusters are amazing, but the rear 12" Kings without the adjusters still feel great ... especially coming up from Bilstein B110s. I also got mine as part of a group buy through BAMF and the adjusters weren't an option.

I sorta regret it. It would be nice to be able to firm it up for on-road use so there's not so much body roll, and it would also be nice to have it firmer if I wanted to go faster offroad. Then soften it up for crawling.

That said, adding adjusters won't make the ride any smoother.

Smoothies with no adjusters = smoothies with adjusters on their softest setting

The adjusters will only aid in making it firmer.

Thanks guys. Don't know why I was second guessing the adjusters, probably just because the entirerty of the rear lift will be $$$. Long run will be worth it. Excited to finally upgrade my OG 5100's. Bamf relocation and adjusters on their way. Phase 2 will be hammer hangers and crossbar

The 12" King 2.0s w/resi are way cheaper than the regular King 2.5 rear shocks ... so totally worth it to splurge at grab the adjusters.
