So I’m looking to change the wheels on my 2017 Tacoma. It’s a sr 4x4 double cab and, it has the stock steel wheels which I don’t love. I believe they are 16x7, and the tires are p245/75r16 109s. I found on tirerack the wheels it suggests are 16x8. Will these fit ? I don’t want to order wrong, and I’m obviously not too familiar with these things yet. I appreciate any and all help!

I also thought about just ordering stock oem 16x7 but the ones that would come on the sports.. BUT, I figured when I do need to get new tires I might go a little bit bigger. Just not sure what the best road to take on this. Thanks again!

Welcome! 8 inch wide wheels will work with 245s.
Just make sure it's a wheel made for Tacomas, hub centric. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/hub-centric-vs-lug-centric-wheels.352670/
What wheels are you thinking of?

Thanks for the response ! These say o.e diameter? I’ve been searching the internet for information like crazy, but this seemed like the right place to really figure out what I need as far as for now, and the future.

The offset 0 will bring your wheels/tires out around an inch compared to your old wheels. Have you checked out Method or SCS wheels? Are you planning on going offroad later on? The reviews on Tirerack had a user say they fit his Tacoma good so thats a good sign.

I live at the beach so the only thing I really plan on doing is driving on come summer. I’ll look at those places as well. Thankyou so much! I just don’t want to end up with something that doesn’t fit, looks ridiculous, or has the potential to be unsafe.
