Looks good. I’m glad people are getting what they paid for. From reading over the postings it has been a mess for some. Maybe once they have proved themselves a little more I will buy in and order one for my truck.

Installed 1 of my knock off baja design lights tonight, its not wired yet, but I hooked it up to a battery to get a idea of how it would look. Gives a pretty good amount of light behind the truck, pretty much the perfect amount to see behind me and to use when loading and unloading my fishing stuff at night.

I ordered a foglight install kit off Amazon as it comes with relay, fuses, and everything all pre-wired so I can just plug it into these lights then plug it into my overhead switches. Im guessing I will have to extend the wires from the fog light kit a bit since its not designed for rear lights. I also ordered another rear light mount for the other side so I can put on both lights.

I removed the face off one of the lights so I could flip the lens over so that the spot is on the inside and flood is on the outside for both lights. I hate when lights are not asymmetrical, it would look like I have 2 left side lights. While I had the faceplate off, I found that star mount LED chips fit inside the case, so I can upgrade them if I ever want to.

 

Went for a ride in my buddy’s 3rd gen and caught a nice sunrise.

Cool, but I would be worried about the placement, as it appears very vulnerable to getting knocked off, or damaging the sheetmetal on the fender. I know it wouldn't be as efficient, but what about mounting them in the bumper? I have just some small floods on my bumper and they throw a surprisingly bright light, with the lights you have it would be far better.

 

I had originally planned on putting a set in my rear bumper, but I need lights that are higher up and can shine to the sides of the truck too. I need the light 90% of the time for loading my kayak and fishing gear in the dark.

Plus for the past year I have had my CB antenna in that mount, so I am used to it being there.

Im a 99% on road person, the worse thing I have around here are kids walking by the truck with umbrellas.

 

Installed my morimotos last night as well as meso customs map and dome lights. This whole truck is lit up!

 

Did a scooped hood swap today! Had to drive about 600 miles round trip for it, but I’m super happy with it.
