So, I was on the fence like most on here couldn’t decide on 265 or 285 and man I am here to say, thank goodness I went with 285’s because it looks insane in person. I took off the front mud flaps before the install just to make sure there was no rubbing on the way home and It didn’t. I did get a slight rub somewhere but very slight while backing in to driveway up a incline. Nothing to be concerned about whatsoever. I did put the aftermarket flaps back on and then it rubbed, (again a slight rub) going to try and take a heat gun to it and see what it does. If not, then the fronts come off. No biggie!! Theres a slight difference on how it drives but again its hard to really to notice.
Other then that, I’m super stoked on how it rides and how it looks....

Installed interior LEDs by Autogine. Install was pretty easy outside of the license plate bulbs. I should have asked my 4 year old for help. You need hands the size of toddlers to replace them.

 

Changed those tail lights two days ago, then today had some time to get these babies in.

You can stick a piece of tape up there and wrap it around the bulb. Press your index finger against the tape/bulb while holding the length of the tape in the same hand and pull. Works like a charm.

Yes, I was actually pretty surprised how well it turned out, and so far it has held up well. Time will tell how durable they are.

 

That’s what I did for the map lights. License plate lights were a whole other story.

 

Installed the AL Off-Road Trailgate Panel. Took maybe 10 minutes.

 

nice. how long did it take to ship?

 

Nothing with mine. It just sat in the street and looked pretty. I did spend some quality time with my brother, his Tacoma and some plasti dip.

 

I ordered it at the end of December, and it came this week. But the company sent me an email pretty early on letting me know that it was backlogged from all of the holiday orders, and it provided a timeline of when it thought the panel would be back in stock and ship. Timeline was spot on, and once UPS had panel, it came in a few days.

 

Just brought home a 21 Trail Premium in MGM
Going to list my 2015 for sale in a bit, it only has 47,800 miles on it.
