I ordered it at the end of December, and it came this week. But the company sent me an email pretty early on letting me know that it was backlogged from all of the holiday orders, and it provided a timeline of when it thought the panel would be back in stock and ship. Timeline was spot on, and once UPS had panel, it came in a few days.

They do, but unlike the bump stops they replace, these are designed to remain in contact with the frame/bump stop bracket so the truck doesn't squat as much under load.

1 beer job, if that. Just loosen the four U-bolt nuts (3/4inch) and they slide right in. Hardest part was torquing the nuts back (52lbs).

This is my ~3,500lb trailer. The Sumo Springs and a good weight distribution hitch are the only additions. Still squats a bit, but not nearly as much as I assume it would without them.

Or you can just pull the overhead console down and remove them from the back side like you are intended to.

Several months ago, i fashioned this “mount” for a fire extinguisher out of Velcro.

    7B4AAC3B-B7DE-442A-8F2B-838B8C7B61EC.jpg

Though it is fairly secure, and, i liked how it tucked in and didn’t intrude into the bed space, it never seemed as permanent as a fire extinguisher should be.

So today, I found some aluminum bar stock that was just taking up space in the garage. I will admit that i am not a machinist by any stretch of the imagination; just know enough to get myself into trouble. So, i cut it to length...

hit it with dye-chem so i could mark it up...

Screw it to a real mount....

Then install it on the rail...

I moved it back closer to the tailgate after i took that pic so it is easier to reach.
Not sure but I think I like my Velcro set up better : - )

Installed sPOD and onboard air. Didn’t shorten any of the wiring so it’s a bit messy for now.

i have the blue medium duty sumosprings and you definitely feel them during normal bumps while unloaded. They sit very close to the frame unloaded and are stiff but in a good way kind of. The black springs he has are more stiff than the blue ones.

So I finally had time to install my Matt Gecko bed lights that I got for Christmas. I didn't use the stock switch and thought I would be different and add a switch to the left side of the steering wheel. Very pleased with how it turned out. 20210123_173344.jpg
    20210123_173950.jpg

Also added Caliraised ditch lights a couple of weeks ago but never posted about it. :D

I like what you did there. Guess I'm partial to the original switch because I can have quick access to the light from the bed itself. And shut it off from there as well. But I'm certainly not downing what you did.

    Good job!
