Yeah, Moog. You’ll be glad you took care of this sooner than later. Have who ever does the work add anti seize to the bolts. Don’t know how many miles you have but new ball joints will come with them too.

Also check the tabs to make sure they are not bent. A couple of mine were slightly bent so they added a little metal behind it.

 

Actually now I see the Moogs are $131 each.. ok final question, will I need any parts other than the 2 LCAs?

 

Which ones are you looking at? The ones in my Amazon cart are $103 and $107.

i got these, haven't installed yet. i also bought all new hardware from Toyota, figured i would have to cut the UCA bolt out

 

Nice, I'm anxious to get these on, get new wheels/tires, have it aligned, and get on with my life.

 

I just went through this with mine. Bolts were seized to the inside of the bushing. Had to cut 3 out of the 4 with a sawzall to remove them. I went the new complete LCA route. MOOG makes some nice ones with bushings and lower ball joints already installed. Those are the ones I went with, rock auto had them in stock ready to ship and I cant complain so far.

cutting them out took longer than installing the new arms with the rest of the suspension with my lift

 

Looks like those come with the bushings installed so should be good.

 

You get the ones pictured? Dont look the same as factory...

 

I found it easiest to just have the person at the dealership desk grab all new cam bolts and parts. Went back and returned what they didn't use. They were able to reuse a couple.

 

I second this, OEM alignment bolts are much better than aftermarket. I went with SPC alignment bolts cause I was in a pinch. They are a bit more sloppy than the OEM ones I pulled off but still work and got me a good alignment. I will have to see how they hold up over time.

 

picture is wrong, but the ones i got appear to be correct replacements. I read some reviews that the cheap ones are that great, figured i could take my time and install whiteline bushings in the factory ones

For me, I was able to paint the wheels with the tires off, that way I could paint inside & out for a better finish.

 

So.... I replaced my passenger brake caliper yesterday that was sticking and compared the basically brand new brake pads to the drivers side. Theres about an 1/8th of an inch difference... Wondering if I should replace again or just let them even out? It is pulling to the left when braking however I did not bleed the system yet.

 

Just picked her back up from Frame Recall, 209K miles, New Frame along with new steering, thought I might as well get a new suspension since the install was free.
