Yet another newb. With questions!

Hello all!

Just joined the club with a 2000 V6 Xtra Can TRD (is there a correct order for writing that?).

Couple of Q's:

How can I search just one part of the forums? For example, restrict my searches to the 1st Gen section of the forums so the results are more relevant?

Where is the best place to post re: the strange wiring of my aftermarket heated seats? I'm not the type that can just tap a fuse and hook them up, with 10a running through the switch. I have to do things RIGHT. Ha. I want to rewire with a relay. There are soooooo many threads on heated seats but none address my questions.

Once you type into the search box you get these options drop down:

While you're in the 1st Gen section, click the search box then make sure you check the box that says "Search this forum only".

If you've looked for the answer and can't find what you need, start a new thread.

 

Definitely, that's my plan, just not sure where are the heated seats threads are everywhere. In 1st Gen? In tech talk? Under lighting (as it's similar) or another area? Thx

 

Personally I'd stick with the 1st Gen section.

Maybe how you get the power and small details about taking seat apart might be different, but this should be enough info to be dangerous for heated seat installs. I am just looking for a time to install my kit.

Thanks for the links. Sadly it doesn't cover my application. I'll start a thread and post it here. I'm picky about my wiring and want it done in a way differently than the kits come set up for.
