It really sucks that you cannot completely disable in 4x4 high...comes back on at speed of around 35mhp. Am I missing something?

 

Did you try long press of a TC button? You have to be not moving, and holding the button for like 5 secs.

 

At full stop, in drive, hold the button 5 sec.

 

I tried that, but I must have been moving...
I'll give it a try in the morning.

Mine started automatically turning back on as well. I hold mine down for 5 seconds and it will turn off like normal but it will turn back on once I start driving at around 40mph

 

This is by design. It’s called nanny systems for a reason

Pretty sure you can turn it off with a long press of TC button. I know for sure it’s possible in 2WD, it doesn’t turn back on above 30 mph or whatever. Haven’t tried it in 4WD yet.

Short push is just push of the button, long press is when you press and hold it for like 5 secs.

 

You think there's three options. Tap, 3s, 5s. The manual says there's only two options. Short press is a tap. That leaves long press to be either 3s or 5s. U do the math. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
