My bad if it is, last I saw the 62 swap wasn't on there. I'll have to look when I get home since work flagged it as an unsafe site so its blocked here.

I agree. To a somewhat competent person, this thread is very informative but to a complete noob, this thread is very confusing.
Yeah I haven't talked to him personally but he seems very helpful and willing to spend time on here and answer questions. It's not something most people do and it's awesome he's willing to do it. I didn't say anything negative about him or this thread. I feel like I just stated something obvious and the opposite of what someone else stated.
Why do you assume I'm not chill? There's no need to try and talk down to me. I didnt do anything other than respond in a conversation, just as you have. I've also read this thread multiple times and am aware of his shop and what they do. This isn't information that makes me better or less than you. You can defend him and this thread without attacking me.

Once again, I started an obvious. Every time I come back to this thread, I wish the first post on page 1 had a summary of the products he offers. You can have a difference in opinion but I don't think I'm saying anything crazy when i say it would help out a lot of folks who come here looking for something to not have to go through all the pages and bs. If this thread was 205 pages of useful information then that's different, but it's half full of mindless nonsense.

Example, I've been telling a lot of the TN guys about the slide rack and have basically made my own post on a group chat we have saying what it is, the benefit of it, comparing it to the other options out there and why some of them might want it over the competition. If there was an easy way to view that info in this thread and get someone started down a path of research then that sounds like a reasonable ask.

What you described pretty much sounds like a product page on a website and the associated description. A few things are missing off of the website but they’ll get there in due time.

and I mean, this thread did start out as a build thread, not a vendor page :notsure:

Haha the title alone isn't even what brought me here originally as I was just interested in the slide rack. Funny how threads grow to whatever gets talked about.

It looks good to me. Chalk me up for one of those inner fender structures. Are they still going to tie into the CO mount, how does that affect the use of the bypass mount? Potentially interested in the gast tank pending measurements below the frame.

With the ECU issues (not sure what the issue was) have you considered using HPTuners? It makes a world of difference with throttle mapping, engine tuning and transmission tuning on a 2nd gen. Even stock engines/drivetrains like mine it helped drastically!!! JustDSM is the guy to talk to about it. He builds/revises the tunes and many tuning shops use HPTuners as its the primary LS tuning software.

I’ve talked to just JustDSM a few times and he is a VERY knowledgeable guy. The ecu issues I was dealing with were for all the SRS and ABS crap.

We are doing a 700mile trip from CA through Death Valley to Nevada and back to CA middle of March and then the truck is coming back for round two... fuel cell, inner fenders, engine cage, 9” and a super charger:)
