I knew of them close to a decade ago from some nature show, it puts toxins out it's roots to kill off other plants around it and is not a good habitat for regular critters that like to live in bullrushes.
Roots/tendrils underground so you can't just go at it with a weedwacker to kill it.

I have noticed that regular bullrushes are very rare to see on the side of the highways as they've all been replaced with these.

In fact it's getting rare to see bullrushes at all now... that stuff is taking/has taken over everywhere you used to see them.

It re-uses the old springs and top hats..

Interesting that there is not a peep from Toyota that these are "adjustable" for height. Marketing guys must have received their coke delivery late that day.

Notice how the lock on that zip-tie lines up with the TRD logo... that's precision engineering right there!

Maybe why they are advertising it as dealer installed only, shade tree mechanic may put the zip tie out of alignment during install....

Gotta check the alignment on delivery...

    Just red this

It gives info on the problems with the sensor after grill change by explaining how it works.

Sounds like it's only available as a package. It's basically a way to overpay for everything and pay inflated labour for a Toyota tech to install. I don't have TSS and I have aftermarket fogs so the rest of the package is kind of useless.

Yes it was '18 when they added the TSS and from my knowledge the sensors are the same (except for the 'fix' for the water intrusion) as the 20's.
The body computers are probably different part#'s so that may be an issue (but I doubt it).
If the Pro in 18 and 19 had a different body computer than the OR them maybe they TSS radar sensor is not swappable between the two...

My be is they didn't want a bunch of people with pro grills that were disabled during the sensor recall camping on their doorstep demanding they be re-enabled because it was BS they were fed.

"Millimetre Radar" is basically just a wi-fi antenna.

Neat thing I found with the body computers is they are setup for all the options (BSM, Rear Parking, TPMS) and when they are first turned on they "learn" what is connected to them.

When I removed my rear bumper the BSM came off with it, if I hit the BSM button, the computer would obviously signal the error on the centre dash screen, fired up techstream and found the relearn function and it turned off the BSM as it could no longer detect them any more. Button does squat now... (Going to re-purpose it for my cross-traffic camera system if I get the time when it's warm to work on it)

Hey guys, since we couldn't make the winter road this year, do you want instead to do a trip thru the Ottawa region or Quebec at beginning of April or end of March?

This is the Ottawa Valley option
    https://www.graveltravel.ca/index.p...view=article&id=124:ridamox&catid=1&Itemid=19

In Quebec we have the gaspesian loop, but it's 10 hours just to reach from the gta.

Swisha loop, Quebec, option is 5 hours away.

Make a separate thread for this, we might have a few Quebecers chime in

I'd be down to do a extended long weekend run of that (take a day or 2 before/after)

    Will do.

@Norilsk, which day you are thinking to do Ray's Place? I don't want to suggest dates too close to other events.
