Make sure you read most of the 70 plus pages so you make sure you get the right parts for your application it’s all her you just have to educate yourself . And if it doesn’t make sense ask a question. I personally have 26 years of auto and truck repair experience, so what makes sense to me might not make sense to other people .

Is the 41337-35050 in lieu of splitting your Taco tcase to get its output shaft with the correct spline count?

That’s just the parts for the front axle. You will still need to split the tcase and swap the output shafts.

No all those parts on that list are to delete the front diff actuator those parts are not related to the transfer case only the front diff . It’s what is referred to ass the ADD delete . If replace those parts and use the correct FJ transfer case you would no longer have any electronics controlling your 4x4 system in your 2nd gen Tacoma.

And someone please correct me if I’m wrong but if you get the correct transfer case you do not have to swap output shafts . I believe I read if you use the t case from an automatic trans FJ it will directly bolt onto the 5 speed Tacoma . But if the t case is out of the 6 speed manual you have to change it . I might have this wrong , I’d have to go back and read it again .

The output shaft is the same for every FJ transfer case. The input would need to be changed if you want to put an FJ case from an automatic transmission FJ cruiser behind the 6 speed RA60F tacoma transmission.

depends. the fj cruiser had a male transmission output. thats why fj cases come with a coupler on them most of the time that has to be removed for the tacoma

What Ryan said, stock it will come with a female-female coupler on the input shaft due to the output shaft of the FJ transmission being male. On the 6 speeds, the output shaft is a 22 spline female so no need for a coupler. You need to press that coupler off to install in our trucks.

So the FJ t case that I have has a female input , I intend on putting in my 06 5 speed Tacoma , am I going to find that my 06 Tacoma has a female trans output ?

never had a 5 speed removed so couldn't tell you. But looking at the parts it appears has a male output. Attach is the relevant documents, should be pretty obvious once you remove your stock case
