All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Who knows, it ain’t my place!

I run 5100's with 885 coils up front and Icon RXT leafs with Bilstein B110's in the back. I used a set of SumoSprings for my bump stops - I tow my Teryx4 and they come in handy. Love the setup. Take note that you'll drop another $150-200ish on bumpstops/extensions to keep those extended length B110's from bottoming out.

Running setup 2 on the springs and have sliders, RTT, bed bars, bed mat and maybe 100lbs of crap on a daily basis. Sits with stock rake (how I like it).

Yes, I like the ride quality. But, I have never been in a truck with the high end suspension, so I can't compare. I do like what I have.

You could probably use 650 lb springs and be fine.

Heavy duty springs should be fine. I suggest a spring pack rather than just an add-a-leaf to get your 2" of lift. Add-a-leafs sag rather quickly.

Hammer hangers replace the rearmost rear spring hanger. The stock ones tend to bend (flex) when they shouldn't. Also, the stock ones don't always let the shackle move freely for maximum spring droop. As such, the truck should ride a little better as well, since the spring will have easier time flexing.

    Here's the thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tacoma-hammer-hangers-soa-sua-archive-garage.519625/

    Give it a read.

I do not have personal experience with them yet - I hope to install them once we get a comfortable (warm) weekend.

Posted in our classifieds thread, but I'll post here just in case.

Anyone got a slim (underseat) subwoofer w/built in amp they wanna get rid of for cheap? I considered buying the $80 one from Walmart to see if I even liked having a sub behind the seat, but thought I'd check here to see if anyone had one collecting dust first.

I don't suppose anyone works with aluminum. I need to come up with a mount for my winch cutoff.

Anyone got recommendations for a good fence contractor in the Gwinnett/Barrow area? We need to get one here in the near future.

I have contemplated building a custom box to fit behind the Tacoma back wall. Are you talking about in your 150 though?

I have! They were the most reasonably priced when we got a fence and they did a great job. Let me see if I can dig up their contact info. I'll either send you a PM or text with their info.
