technical gun threads are fine, I think the issue is this is a borderline political thread and it's probably mods locking it before it gets out of hand

I definitely see that now. My mind is so averse to politics that it didn't even go there, I was strictly considering the legal implications. I often forget that people get emotional about facts and documentation.

It was so nice yesterday afternoon that I was able to pull out some tools and stuff to sell from the depths of piles currently inhabiting my space...

I also feel like the songbirds were reading my strangely pleasant thoughts this morning as I walked the dogs.

Sounds excellent! Enjoy it while you can!

Not sure I'll be home during daylight this week. My poor dog will go unwalked in this fantastic weather
Was it a drop-in fit like you were expecting?

It was nice enough yesterday that roommate and I welded up some dragger thing to pull behind trucks and spread the horse manure in the pasture.

Think I get a workout in today since I'm out of shape. Need/want to...

-Straighten RTT on rack. Anyone suggest something to place between RTT rail and bed rack? Like some sort of rubber to prevent the tiniest movement which is why I think it's so crooked now.

-Open RTT and let it breathe.

-Work on the head unit and tech deck.

I need money for the real maintenance stuff. :spending:

Sidney could always have spent some time at 2Fang......
It required trimming the mounting feet, as expected.
Also so slight relocation of the oil cooler...

When you do the engine swap. Let me after the wiring. I really want to try my hand at doing a full Aircraft style Harness with spec quick disconnect pass through for the firewall. Thus it'd be easy to mate up any engine as long as the pin-outs match up with the interior wiring. In theory anyway. What kind of ECU would you do? Holley? Soldering/heatshrink are one of the joys I have for hands on stuff. Probably why I enjoy welding so much. Maybe I should've become a welder....

Gonna try to finish the wasted spark ignition setup, set it up in there. T5 swap this year if I get a trans, axle swap if we get to it, J has a spare for the race car for it.
After it's all great, swap it into Wagon, then the TeaLady get ready for the OldMan Cruiser swap.

This style is what I'm gonna use when/if the 4.0 dies and I swap in something else. No more stupid rubber grommets, streamlined nice Mil Spec quick connect. Separate one for accessories to an RTMR.

I looked into it a while back, but hadn't gotten into enough at that point.
