I have the TRD OR so no air dam to get rid of.

I went with the Draw-Tite due to the higher vertical rating than the Curt. The Install was easy. Just put the front up on ramps and was able to access everything. Used it already this winter with my Snowsport plow.

The way the video was edited, I better understand why kids can have epileptic seizures while playing video games.

Talk about being force fed the up-sell.

I did the ECT relocate mod with an ECT extension from @trdtacomabob which can be purchased here https://kabowest.com
The extension is set up to reach the driver side switch cubby area, opening up a switch spot on the center dash console.
I relocated the switch on the center console next to the E-Brake, thanks to @oostroma fo the positioning idea. Also added a 2nd switch spot for future installs.
Install video will be up on the channel by tomorrow.

I put the oem aluminum running boards back on and got me some oem mud flaps. So far I’m liking the look of the mud flaps and running boards together.700ABB2B-0C99-41A7-82EB-520E5C79C783.jpg F188ED9D-1417-4D5E-92F0-D130DBFF5EEA.jpg

Looks good. Glad I could share.
On that note, MESO has made a single switch holder now for this ECT switch location. Maybe he can bundle the extension cable from @trdtacomabob with it?

I have not seen anyone on TW from Ontario that does this "tuning" you speak of.
Note, the relocate places the ECT button at a more convenient location for occasional usage as well as frees up a space in the dash for another mod. Especially for those that only got 1x spare switch spot like my 2017 TRD OR access cab.

I hope you didn't buy the mud flaps. I would have sent you mine for the cost of shipping. They don't work well in Ontario which is odd since the truck comes with them from factory.

Thinking about doing the same thing to my tailgate. Where did you get the stickers?

I replaced the battery in my key fob, after about three warnings from my truck that it was getting low.

Ok, what is so "smart" about it? Do you have interior pics?

Info on how you did that and/or your setup would be awesome.

I'm not knocking relocating the ECT button, just saying a tune eliminates the need for it.

Do you need a tune if you drive slow and never tow things?

If you're an old woman I suppose you wouldn't notice but if you're a normal driver, yea, big big difference.
