First wash, 560 miles on OD, since ceramic coat that was done at 250 miles.

Picked up a Chemical Guys Blaster 6 and their foam soap. Easiest car was ever. I also used a Camco RV water filter to help reduce water spots. Worked really well! We have very hard water here in AZ!

Just installed the RedLine Tuning QuickLift Hood Struts today. I really like how it makes my Pro's engine bay feel more like a high end sports car, and will make future projects / maintenance easier.

Installation wasn't bad because their instructions were very descriptive and clear. It required having a rivet gun, touch up paint, and making some precision drilled holes -- but I am very happy with the end result. Took about an hour to install, with all the necessary parts, tools, and touch-up paint was about $200.

So, realized I can’t upload a video to here without linking YouTube. I honestly don’t want to go through the trouble of creating and account just for this. Lol. Below are some pictures and tips. Hopefully this helps.

Note: it’s super simple...I did it all with one hand while taking the pictures.

1st note the orientation of the pins. The little flat part on the bottom of the pins needs to be sticking out like this. This ensures they are angled correctly.
    6B115E15-77C4-4D4E-AB91-0212F3B358A7.jpg

Make sure you’re doing this with the carpet removed and the door sill removed. Put it in towards this angle (can really be more vertical...I only tilted it like this for the picture)
    A6E2D5AD-C3F9-4BCA-B5B0-BC729C0F8DC9.jpg

Now push the bottom pin in. You just push straight in like the arrow shows. No angle. The angle of the pin will guide it in. As a note, pay attention to what that piece is overlapping (the gasket). It doesn’t go over both pieces, just the thicker one).

    655B159E-E0ED-4857-A1C1-3E86BA5A5A28.jpg

Then push the top in. Again, overlapping that same piece.

Now that it’s on, just put the cap on down by the footwell.

Does that help? If not, just part out your truck and sell me all the good stuff. Haha!!

Installed the Caliraised driver and passenger side bed molle panels.

Need to pick up some jacknuts to complete the installation though. 2019 = no drivers side storage cubby = no bolt option for the molle panel

    Nothing yet :(
Here’s the thing... All currently planned mods (except my bumpers) require electrical work of one sort or another. Although I’m a trained motorcycle mechanic, electrical is NOT my forte.
Truly I would just prefer to pay for the job to be done right and clean.

Could anyone possibly point me in the right direction? (SoCal area) EDIT: Kern County preferred

Thanks, I’ll probably retry again on Wednesday when it’s warmer. I was always trying to slide it in at an angle as the pins were at an angle, never thought about pushing it in straight. Will definitely give it a try.

Added an AL Offroad Trailgate Panel to replace the stock tailgate panel. The easiest mod I've done so far, took literally 2 minutes to install.
So much nicer to climb up on with your knees if needed, and nice flat work space for tools, stoves, lunch, drinks etc. etc. etc. I love it.
Hit them up for this quality of life upgrade.

The SR5 you can pay to upgrade to a TRD off Road or sport packages. SR models you can’t.
