I have a 2017 access cab with the "rear seat delete".
After looking at several threads on here, I decided to make a dog platform for mine.
I bought a sheet of plywood, a 2x4, an outdoor area rug, and some spray adhesive. I had wood screws as well.
The platform measures 51" x 26". The 2x4 feet are 7 1/2" long. Plenty of room underneath to stash guns, gear, etc.

Seen this before, and always love seeing it again. Was just thinking about how to build one.

First of its kind. A TRD pet platform. Or a TPD (Toyota Pet Development).

Great idea and execution. You may want to consider adding a hook or loop to clip your dog into. I recommend using a car safety harness for your pets, I've seen nasty accidents with pets flying after a crash or even taking out the owners.

I know this is for access cabs, but just thought I'd show what we made for our guys. Custom memory foam beds with removable covers. This is with the seats down in my DC. One bed for the bottom, and one for the back.

My first mod the day I brought my Taco home was a dog platform. It's tight but my two squeeze in.
