I just made that same drive yesterday! That view coming down the grade is one of my favorites in the world.

It seems several of us were on 395 recently! @DarthPow @MSN88longbed !

I meandered for two hours amongst the volcanic landscape, and by the time I was back on my planned route, the sky wasn't quite as clear as it'd been at the start of the day. Yes, I'd cheated the weather for a few hours, but winter was coming...

Are you crossing that flooded creek/river or skirting the edge? That's crazy either way

Had to get home, which involved crossing. Made it home without issue. Wouldn’t recommend without knowing if the water was moving too fast or how deep it actually was.

definitely changing rear diff fluid today and doing the breather mod after that! Need to check on front diff breather location though.

Also some way of further waterproofing the switches for the transfer case and rear locker would be a good idea for when shit hits the fan.. likely going to splooge dielectric grease all over the outside of them. Truck wouldn’t go into 4wd beforehand from how wet everything was. Turned it off and back on to resolve (thankfully).

Took a trail from Joshua Tree National Park up to Big Bear, CA this past weekend. Got to really put the truck to the test, I am still running stock everything except for turd-gen wheels and tires from a 2020 TRDOR.

Managed to bash in my skid plate a bit and put some new scratches on the diffs which was fun :headbang:

Also got to test out some different camera equipment (hence the difference in photo quality/styling).

It was pretty sweet starting at 70 degrees in the desert with Joshua Trees and ending the day at 45 degrees in the snow and pines!
