Thank you for being a sounding board for my DIYs. I honestly don't want to cause any physical injuries and I do wait until the Mail is delivered to arm trip wires.
    And No Trespassing is posted.

My knowledge and non justified legal experience is based off the Katko v. Briney case of '71 where an old couple trying to protect their Iowa farmhouse from constant breakins were found liable for battery because they set up a shotgun rigged to a spring trap. The court ruled in favor of the intruders because deadly force was ruled unjustified to protect an unoccupied dwelling.

    Your results may vary

The biggest contention in the case was the fact that the home owners weren't actively living in the house when they set up the trap. Bad guys knew that and that was why it kept getting broken in to.

I think blanks woulda pissed of the intruders more than scare them and further property damage would've probably been the result

That makes sense, and the fact you live there and would be actively protecting your place of residence probably makes the courts more lenient

Plus the great possibility that paint covered blind trespassers probably have a rap sheet and are violating parole/probation when the Law arrives on scene.

Then is the capsaicin there just to make them rub the paint deeper into their eyes? It's a nice touch

I love how Tacoma Pros weren't a thing until 2014, yet since then more and more people call their much older vehicle a Pro just because

It's less Tacoma and more mod
iForce is the entirely pointless name Toyota gave to the 4.7L and later 4.6 and 5.7 V8s in tundras and Sequoia, it's serves absolutely no purpose other than to put a remotely engine related badge on a vehicle, it means nothing at all. It's so pointless the term wasn't even put on the Land cruisers.
