3rd Gen Limited headlights fitment

Does the Limited model have a plug and play fitment with TRD headlights? I was Looking at the TacomaBeast LED trd pro style headlights. The fitment options are sr/sr5 or TRD (with adapter). I believe for the Limited Taco I would go with the TRD fitment. Can anyone confirm?

Limited headlights are the same as the TRD lamps in terms of operation.

Those headlights are garbage. Upgraded halogen bulbs are superior to those units, let alone the OEM LED assemblies.

Morimoto is probably the way to go when it comes to having high quality aftermarket headlights

 

I have LED fog/ bumper bar, I wanted to get away from the yellow tint and chrome backed look of the oem lamps

Get the right headlight the first time. Don't cheap out if that' the style you want. Morimotos or retro fit would be my second option.

 

For 800 they don't even look that good. Not even a projector

What would you guys recommend for Blacked out halogens headlights with DRL for a 2021?
I've been looking for days but seems like the trend here is to go led or nothing.

You could open your headlights and paint them black for just the cost of spray paint. My opinion is there's no point in opening them up just for cosmetic changes. You can't go wrong with throwing in some RX-350 projectors.

 

If anything it’s performance halogen except OEM LED or now Morimoto V2. That’s my go-to stance these days.

Agreed. Good on them for iterating their product. It’s not my style personally and I think I’d take my chances on the OEM piece long-term for overall reliability, but I love that they released an improved product.
