UPS man dropped off a couple packages.

 

We were waving. I saw you coming up in my rearview. I said there is Preston guys. Everyone yelled hey Preston. Lol!

We just rolled into the driveway.

 

Had a great time taking the boy fishing for the first time this year.

 

Dealership only messed up 1 part number out of 30 different ones. I’m impressed



Also did my first u joint with a hammer and some sockets. Was pretty fun

 

Had a beautiful 2020 TRD Pro stop by today to chat about the tuning.. Had him take my truck for a spin and before we got out of the driveway he was already smiling and sold on the tune !

He asked me to tune it on the spot... So, if any of you guys or gals are on the fence on the new Kruiser 4.0 Performance tune, come by and take my truck for a ride.

Well boys just order a mountain house swag tent. Been wanting a tent that I can setup and tear down quick and packs up light. Should be nice for those wheeling trips. Still keeping RTT for overlanding type trips and of course for Anna

When I unpacked today I went ahead and pulled what me and Dylan are taking on Traverse. Amazing how me and him only need two sleeping bags and one box for food. When the four of us are traveling I’m loaded down. Of course this made a good discussion for the purchase of gears while on the road.

 

Guys if you are in the Southeast and you aren’t going to see John you’re missing out on how your Tacoma should run/drive. I’ve been on the fence about this for a while and I’ve read up on it and even kicked the idea around about buying vftuner and trying it myself. Instead I decided find someone nearby that could do it that knew what they were doing. I made the right choice; John is so detailed and he makes sure it’s right. He explains everything in detail and it’s obvious he knows what he is doing and even let me take his truck for a test drive beforehand. On top of the tune he even used tech stream to “fix” some annoying sounds, LOL. (Door chime, seatbelt chime) Hands down the best mod available for the money.

Yea I’m excited for it. I wanted something I could just throw in the truck when I’m going by myself on trips and especially when I’m going strictly to Offroad.

 

I saw that earlier, I wishd I could find a blue when I have money for it lol.

You need those gears lol it’d be like a new ride, are you gonna do an arb too?

 

Yep. Going to do both at same time. After that I’m pretty much done with the build unless I get a slimline bumper.

 

I’ve kinda been thinking about doing a truetrac since I’ve already got a lsd that works, it works good and is automatic. Then again if getting the arb compressor for the front locker might as well do the rear.

@gixxerphil leavin in the am headed to get the rc hope all is good, was gonna take dads tundra and haul it back if it broke down but probably just gonna drive murano and if it breaks down call aaa to tow it.

Also got my makita handheld compressor wrench set hammer screwdrivers gallon of water what else sounds good to pack for a just in case scenario?
