I'm new to this, but where do those bed lamps come from? My 2021 Sport has only blank offs. Lights would be delightful.

I didn't notice any play in the hood but I'll have to check on the ball mounts now that you mention it.

Thank goodness I don’t have all the bells and whistles on My 2020 off-road. I know the truck tracks me due to the safety connect, but beyond that and Wi-Fi, I have no additional features for the app to notify me of. I would think just turning off alerts on your phone for the app would take care of the annoying notifications though, wouldn’t it?

My 2021 TRDOR didn't come with them either. You can get them directly from the dealership parts department and it's a very easy install. The new trucks are already wired for them. Just pop out those blanks covering the holes and run the wires to the plugs behind the taillights.

There's good instruction video on youtube if you do a search. I think I paid about $60 for the light kit. Came with the lights and the harnesses. Lights work with your cargo bed light switch.

Oooh! There may be a problem..... The AC Sport doesn't have a cargo bed light switch.

I may need to work on that.

Here’s a link to the thread on them. It should help you out.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/oem-led-bed-lighting-kit-2020.644777/

I believe for your setup an additional relay and a switch are needed, and possibly some other issues to deal with.

Let me know what you see. It’s not a HUGE lean on them but it’s definitely not perfectly straight like it should be. Not sure if it will cause issues down the road.

When I put pressure on the hood to close it I can also see the ball mounts move slightly. They’re definitely tightened in all the way so I know that’s not the issue.

With the way the bed graphics blend, it almost looks like the topper was meant to be black ... looks good to me !

Damn. Yeah he said the container order from China they placed months ago just landed. I picked a pretty normal combo so it was part of their shipment
