    Don't want to give too much detail in the off-chance my offer gets accepted, and the internet knows my address :spy:

    I'm sure that was a worth while move, I would do it too if I didn't already have a job here.

    I would move back in a heartbeat. I miss the area, but I'm into the minimalist back country camping and whitewater kayaking and neither of those are here. I sometimes regret not taking the job offer with NBPS, but they wouldn't transfer over my almost 10 years of pensionable time. I've now got 18 years in where I am, and if I play my cards right I could possibly retire in 7, then I'd look at moving back.

    If you want input on the Pirelli brand, it's Pirelli. They've been around for 150 something years now and for good reason. They know tires since they are the ones that basically started it next to Michellin and Good year.

    If you want input on that tire, i have no idea if those are any good, but i do recall looking at Scorps before getting the Cooper ST MAXXs

    When I first got my Tacoma it came with a brand new set of Pirelli Scorpion ice tires, And I did not mind them.

    Just to give you another option the Canadian tire link below shows tires that my son is considering putting on his 2012 4Runner.....They seem to have good reviews.

    Best you can do is unmaintained roads after snow storms, unless you know someone willing to let you wheel on their private property...

    Back in '90, my ex rolled one of our cars near the end of April. I bought a cheap motorcycle to commute to work, so she could drive my truck... beginning of May, there was a fuck of a snow storm and I had a 45' ride home on 2 wheels...

    Check build thread!
    My girlfriend lives within sight of the town hall in Shelburne. I'm personally from Alliston, near the home hardware. I didn't know there was any serious wheeling in the area! HMU if you ever go on anything my stock truck can handle lol.

    Can't be any harder than building a bracket to relocate a winch controller

    For the brackets I'll use aluminum...just easier to work with.

    well this is a neat idea off the 4WD Action video this morning;

    swap a long bed for a short bed and slip a tire or electric fridge between the bed and body...

    @tacoma16 that's more or less what you wanted to do but the tire sits on the flat bed between then dog box and cab right?
