Nah, i just made the excel file.

I have this one on a Regular octane, regular file, not SFOB.

Just note, this is a test file, it only modifies the throttle.

These are the only 3 maps i changed to do this. Other than these 3, my file is base OVtune

CORRECTION! - I did remove the throttle limits in first gear

It behaves different than OVtune's, it is a little flat in the 2-3k range, and require a little more throttle input than Ovtune's (his was crazy aggressive anyways IMO)

So we put a lot of stuff over there, and i feel it was too fast.

I found that the truck behaves so differently day to day, that i am trying files for a week before doing any adjustments.

I've also been holding back info on it/sharing it because ive done that before, then turn around and end up not liking it.

I've had these 3 maps for about a month now, and it really helped the hang issue. But its not fixed, just better.

Also, like posted, this is a little flat in some RPM ranges, and my changes are basically adding 1 point to each field until i find the right one, that G1 map is touchy as hell

Similar, but different. Its been a long winded set of test and flash, and the logger was down for months, so i quit even messing with it until the logger came back

Just a quick note that OVT did not touch any of the maps that we have messed with on the MT side, other than the PTTT1G?

The Stock / OVT PTTT map is just weird, like you said though. A lot up to about 50% or 60% then only a bit more. This linear stuff took a while to get used to, but dayum . . .

He only did the 1G map, which is what i'm messing with. I only made like 2 changes to the base Primary map, its at the low range. It helps with that sudden drop off when starting from a stop.

The Accelerator Request to Airload map is the one that seems to kill the rev hang the most. Im not sure if it created a throttle limit or what, but didnt seem to affect acceleration at all.

I know if you take that map, and move the curve to the left about 3 cells, it will rev hang on every single shift.

If I need to clean anything up there, please let me know.

I can understand that. It was a lot of stuff, fast, until things felt right. Since, it has been pure contentment. I did try some ALC changes based on BS advice. After that was proven wrong, I am not on @MOC221_ 's ALC V4 and it is very nice.

Mainly, I'm just waiting on the Rev Hang and DFCO patches and maybe other goodies from @OVTune .

I tried the ALC stuff, but ended up going back to stock. Once i get rid of the flat spot i was talking about, i will venture back into those, now that Matt has provided some more information on what they do.

I feel that what ive done, is a band aid of sorts and am also waiting for the stuff from Matt. However, the following changes do more than help with rev hang.

It stops the thud when getting back on throttle, gives more of a range to the accelerator pedal for more low pedal control.

The key to stopping it, seems to lie in the values in red, keeping them lower makes it sort of throttle back. But i think it also explains the flatness. But, im still working on it.

On the ALC, Stock was okay, but the V3 / V4 mods were a big improvement. Esp as the recent version that I tried was only the ALC change back to Stock for some MPG speculation that was 100% wrong, as I should have known.

Whoa! I have been biting my tongue about that throttle thud. I kinda felt that it was one of those things that is like the soft 1,400 surge that only develops after settling is down, where Mat noted that it would require a deep study. I didn't want to start another round of problems.

I will now give that ATRA map a shot.

One quick thing. You're tab for Primary Throttle Efficiency is not the ALC map but the PTTT map, right?

Yes it is the PTTT Map, it changed names

its almost 100% stock except for the area in the top left corner. i dropped just a touch right off throttle. I feel that it helps keep the rpms from overshooting when taking off at a stop.
