Where do you guys put your garage door opener??

A problem that iv had since i bought my truck....cant figure out where to put the garage opener. it wont fit in the spot thats made to put them in and wont clip on the visor...its in the cup holder right now but kind of annoying. any Suggestions??

 

How big is the remote? Pic?

 

So it won't fit in the little drop down thing by the fuses? How about the cubby to the right of the wheel? Surely it can't be that big.

 

I put In the Trey under the air vent By the ignition

 

Or buy one that goes on ur keychain ... Must be on big ass remote

 

i took the clip off mine and velcroed it on top of the passenger side visor. works great

 

velcroed into the sunglass holder in the overhead console. I never put sunglasses in there so I figured I should use it for something.

 

I used double sided tape and stuck it to the outside of the sunglass holder. I put my sunglasses in that holder, so I stuck it to the outside.

 

I dont park in the garage so theres no need for me to have one in my truck! HAHA

 

Clipped it to the mini net on the inside of the glove box.

 

ya the remote is not that big,just regular size, its just i dont want it in the way of anything....ha yes i know sounds kinda gay. The velcroing sounds like a prety good idea...but WHERE?? cant decide

 

The options are endless. If you like the location of the coin tray(as I heard it being mentioned as earlier) velcro it to the outside of that.

OP- do your friends say your indecisive?

 

I put mine in the shitty little overhead compartment with the clunky plastic button that pushes in on the remote. works great.

Mine fits perfectly in the little tray next to the shifter (auto).

 

I installed a Homelink in mine, then there is no remote to worry about.

Instead of using a button switch, I used a used VSC switch. This is a momentary switch that fits into one of the many blank switch openings. Even wired up the switch backlight. Works great.
