They basically said “oh it’s a problem with your MXT275 connector.” Even though the video I sent them showed play in the dash....

you can get bare stock shackles from the dealer for ~$20, and then just add poly bushings

Yeah. Since I don’t weld... (yet). My concern is that if I get poly bushings and it allows for more droop, will the lower mounts have to be changed a little to allow more droop? My guy set them up to flex out as they are with a little less than 1” on the shock body so the shocks aren’t the limiting elements. If I allow more droop on the system will it change how the lower mount should have been welded on? Or if I all more droop, as everything is welded up will the shock be the limit, not the springs?

as it stands, the shocks have less than an inch more to give...

    With my shackle as such

The shock is less than an in from maxed out.

this pic shows the shock fully extended, slightly below the lower mount.

I’m concerned if I allow more droop, by adding poly bushings, I risk full shock extension at full droop. I plan to add limit straps to stop just that from happening.

Is my thinking flawed? I’m learning this all as I go.

I think I set mine as 1" to go, after full droop. You could get limit straps to limit the movement

How much shock travel do you have left when you articulate the rear? This matters also.

    A crap ton of mods.
It could very well be. The nice thing is there are more coatings all the time but I'm really biased, I'm a huge Cerakote fan and did my entire firearms collection before I decided to start spraying it as my side hustle in retirement. The Youtube videos are amazing where they take it and spray it on an aluminum tube and then heat it up till it's glowing white hot and the Cerakote comes out without any damage! It's not as easy to do repairs on as Duracoat but it's a lot more abrasion resistant and wears better. Modern chemistry is awesome! I like Cerakote so much I even did my wheels and Hi-Lift jack : ) Using their Micro-Slick on all the moving parts on the Hi-lift has made it a lot safer and more reliable. No more hang-ups or drops.

I'm waiting to do this as well and been reading alot on it. I am following your thinking, and don't think it is flawed. Not to say there aren't other variables as I am learning as well. Luckily I got my hangers, shackles, and deavers all done and finalized before I do this last piece.

That is a thing of beauty! I saw that on MESO's website but couldn't swing the cost this month having blown my budget and those Baja Designs lights aren't cheap, but I managed to get his dome light and map lights. What a massive difference between the LED bulbs I had in there. Hopefully, I can score one of those brake lights down the road, I really am impressed with his stuff, what a great score for you!

Out of curiosity how much bolt head at the top mount did you have to work with on the B110s? I had very little to work with. the nuts on mine tightened down and there was barely any bolt sticking out the top for the nylock to grip.

I have probably 3/4” of thread sticking past the bolt after tightening. There was barely any when I put the spacers on stuff on though.

I tried getting 3 different size torque wrenches in there but couldn’t get any of them go click lol. I just guessed where to stop it since it was getting dark, should be fine though as long as it’s threaded since the recommended torque rating is so low.

Added an ARB socket that the plug can thread into for a solid connection. I also shortened the cord so no excess hanging about. Very happy with the outcome.
