I have one with a Bakflip cover installed. You have to do a bit of modification for it to fit “right” after you install the cover due to the fact that the rails it mounts to are moved down below where they were previously. If you search my post history you can find pics of mine. Also I found a bed divider locally that had not been used for $100.

I used a hair dryer to heat the OEM mirror back by blowing warm air around the edge s of the mirror. The I pushed the mirror so it was tilted up as far as possible. Grabbed the bottom edge of the mirror with both hands and just pried it up and out. The clips will release - and you'll see a metal clip of the driver's side. Don't think you screwed up when you don't see one on the passenger - you don't need that clip for the Spotter Mirrors.

To put the new ones in, I again used the hair dryer to heat the plastic on both the new mirror and the holder. I started on the upper corners to pop the new ones in - they do take a bit of force.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I've had mine in for about as long as I've had my truck with no issues.

I really like the look of the recessed winch plate but I wonder, being so does it limit you from using it at a high angle like if you're on a hill? Just curious, never used a winch before.

It’s recessed but when you are at that angle the rope wouldn’t come in contact with the bumper.

The 3rd gen Tacoma panel is rated at 85 watts.
    https://www.cascadia4x4.com/collections/vss-system

It is paired with a second battery from Offgrid Engineering (managed by a RedArc BCDC1225D)
    https://www.**************/collecti...harging-technology-for-toyota-trucks-and-suvs

A DROK voltmeter in the back measures the voltage on the second battery. All roof rack lights and the rear power bus are wired to the second battery.

I grabbed the dimensions from another TW thread from user RCRcer (LINK), but the dimensions match the OEM part exactly which doesn't work for a flat piece of aluminum. The OEM part has a lip that bends down where it meets the tailgate. The aluminum will bind up on the bed when you shut the tailgate, so I took about a 1/4" off the top of the panel closest to the bed. In the drawing that is the bottom edge.

Speaking of the Redarc brake controller, tested it out on Saturday using an 18ft shop trailer. Worked like a champ and I love how it looks like it came with the truck.

I have one I use with either the Diamondback or he original Toyota cover without issues.

It rests about 1” off floor of bed.

knob is 1/4” from top of bed rail.

Hope this is what you seek.
