Just checkin in here from Cedar Rapids. I have a guy that has a shop & does alignments but because of backlog from that damn derecho, covid, & winter time accidents he's been booked up solid.

Looking for help doing my Eibach lift & SPC UCA's either at my garage or if anyone knows of a nearby shop that's not slammed booked right now

 

I did mine in garage in a few hours a couple months ago. I’ve not done ucas though.

 

Honestly you could do all your coils and shocks and driveway or in a parking lot. I haven't done UCAs yet either, but we're getting ready to do two trucks and their UCAs at a buddy's garage here in St Louis in a couple of weeks.

He claims they're really not all that bad

 

Mine was a slight step above doing it in the driveway lol I was only half in my garage cuz I needed room to move around

 

Yea I've been taking suspension & other work to this guy for years. Super reasonable & damn good mechanic. Kinda spoiled to have him around but I'm getting antsy to put this lift in. If it wasn't for the adjustability of the SPC's I could just mark the adjuster bolts & put em right back when done but I'm guessing that castor is gonna mess me up

Also I ruptured a disc in my back the day after the derecho & been messed up since. Lost some manhood having my wife change my oil last October

 

I've had my truck fully in the garage twice now. Barely fits & I have a short bed

 

Mine fits in my garage but just barely. There’s not much room for my toolbox or other garage items.

Calling it a garage is being generous. I wish i had the building my tundra is in. Then I’d get a lift and we could have a party

So my wife works at Toyota Financial in CR & about 600 people were told they either need to move to Plano, TX or they will be let go with severance in about a year. Total shocker & pretty bumbed after supporting her job & brand so much over the years she has been there. No more employee lease car deals for us & we were just going to order another Rav4

 

Texas isn't so bad
