Just picked up a sweet 21 Trail Edition. Removed the useless boxes in the bed, only to find out the front side bed tie down anchor threaded holes are used to mount them. Does anyone know the part numbers for the u-shaped anchors and bolts ? I'm sure OEM are ridiculously expensive, so a aftermarket recommendations are welcome. Thx.

Followed this thread and used these rings from Amazon. You need to slightly grind the the factory bolt to get the washer off and enlarge the tie down hole to 1/2. All in this should take 30 mins tops. If you have a bed mat I made cuts so these are easy to get to.

Those are for the floor, I'm talking about the ones on the side of the bed in the front of the cab.

If you can't find them within the states I'll sell mine to you. I pulled them off to fit my Retrax so pretty much anyone else with a Retrax cover would have done the same.

Also, I'm somewhat interested in how these boxes look.

And totally useless as the wheel well takes up most of the box space. Easy to remove.

Wow. Much bigger than I thought. If I didn't have a retractable cover I would certainly install the passenger side box as it would be of use to me.

With those useless boxes you have no bed space :bananadead:

For what it's worth I thought I'd be taking them out immediately but I've ended up finding them to be quite useful. That being said they will be coming out from time to time and that is disappointing the anchor points aren't back there. Hadn't thought about that
