No. Not at all. Can you snap a couple of pics of the rear looking straight on (remove the spare if you have one)? Let's see what there is to see.

Ill post a pic tomorrow, they don't stick out very far, if at all with the Toyos. These tires are huge IRL, but when they are mounted they look average its crazy. I was joking with my friends that I should have gone with 35's.
Right now they rub at full lock, and when compressed on a slight turn. when I get the truck aligned I will have them do negative 3 degrees caster which will push the tire forward since its the bottom arm, might not have to trim at all.

Cool thank you. I've been researching a buttload on tire sizes and wheel sizes. I originally wanted 15's, but I did the 13WL upgrade so I'm going to stay 16's.
285/75/16 is the tire size I've set my mind on, and no one really shows the tire poke with 16x8 0 offset wheels.

I'm not going to drive my truck much until I get the UCA's and install them. I'm kicking myself for not doing it at the same time lol

Anyway let me know how the -3 caster works out if you don't mind.

Looks like you ran into the same problem I did with the parking brake cable rubbing the top of the leaf spring packs in both sides, it gets worse when the parking brake is applied. http://www.bajataco.com/Brakes2.html
I did this modification, also where is the brake proportioning valve bracket?

Thanks for pointing this out. I'll have to get back under there and have a look at the tolerances.
Functionally, I didn't notice setting the parking brake, as having an issue, but it looks like it could be a future problem.
Appreciate the link to the fix.

Added 3/30/2021 (new bump stops ordered)
My layout is different. No problems foreseen.

I never use my e-brake, so i don’t really mind it, but now realizing 4wp sent me the heavy duty leafs, i’ll have to trade those out for the normal duty, I will see if i have the same problem after those are swapped...

    4 run, 2 don't
There are no normal and medium duty leaf packs from OME for 1st Gen Tacomas.

Only one leaf pack, with the option from some vendors to install an AAL.

I cut off the arm for the rear proportional valve and zip tied it up out of the way. I run a topper and close to 100# of stuff at all times. No ABS on mine either. On gravel the front will lock then and then the rear if you really stomp on the brakes.

ok so I will be pulling the 2nd leaf tomorrow as my ride is STIFF right now, has anyone pulled it and can say how much of a difference it makes? also my truck doesn’t have a proportioning valve in the rear, it’s either up by the master cylinder or it doesn’t have one at all because the front and rear lines are already seperate... something like that.

Thanks for those that help out clarifying the deal with the leafs, i gotta figure out if the shock is still limiting the down travel, my father said that’s standard on trucks but i’m concerned with how fast my axle shoots down when i get the truck a little airborn
