    You don't have to do the 400W anytime mod to put this AC grommet in the cab. But, if you don't the convertor will kick down to 100W when the truck is in drive. 400W when not, 400W all the time with the mod.

    The 110V outlet in the cab is a great mod. Especially for devices like 100W+ laptops that only have a 110V plug (for obvious reasons because a 12V adapter would often exceed the 10amp fuse). If you're traveling and want to keep the device charged you really need a 110V outlet.
