    So it would turn into multiple parts add, not a "simple/single" one. Bench test it. DRL circuit amps on a SR5 is unknown to me, TAILS are 7.5A. I don't like adding to a circuit, I prefer to use the circuit taps as signals.

    Excuse my ignorance but what’s the difference in changing projectors and changing my bulbs?

    A proper HID or LED retrofit is preferable to just changing out your bulbs. If you read the 3rd Gen headlight mega thread you’ll see a lot of good info.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/3rd-gen-hid-vs-led-vs-halogen-h11-projector-headlights.589465/

    Whatever you do, don’t just throw a pair of HID or LED bulbs in your halogen projectors or @crashnburn80 will make a fool of you :rolleyes:

    @kmorgan3 did the MLED retrofit:

    @MESO has a great post on how to do the RX-350 retrofit.

    If you haven’t figured it out yet, doing a headlight retrofit is not a simple task. You just opened up a rabbit hole that will pry open your wallet and keep you up at night. I think all of us who have responded to this thread can admit.... or deny spending an embarrassing amount of time and money on our headlights.

    Here’s a picture of one of the RX-350 projectors I was working on. You’ll see how much better it is over stock. This is just the low beam.

    I gotta say you are right. These lights have been on my mind all night. Looks like my main expense will be the RX350s and that V6 switchback DRL. Unless you are going to blow my mind about a new thing I need to add lol!

    RGBW high beams? J/k
    To help save you some money, you can buy the RX-350 projectors from Lightwerkz on eBay clear lens and tuned for $330. Which is cheaper than their website.
    There’s also a guy on eBay who sells RX-350 projectors clear lens and tuned for $275. I don’t see any in stock from him currently though.

    Ok so I’m sold on the RX-350 projectors. What can I put in the high beam location to hold a halo light, are there other projectors for high beams or do my low beams now act as my high beams?

    in other news; quick question about the DRL switchback form V6 Triton, if i buy this kit https://www.vleds.com/v6-triton-wa.html do i need any other components to make it work?
