I used to not care but you guys have ruined me. Just like the chrome on the mirror adjuster knob. TW is brutal...

I ended up tearing out the LED on mine as well. The brightness sucks but at least you can always tell when it's on.
I went with CH4x4 for the same reason, better looking icons.

That was the only reason I started out with CH4x4. They were the only people receptive to doing custom logos. I found the "correct" logo and they were nice enough to create a special item in their store specificlally for this mod. The only issue is the LED (brightness and color). I have asked and they can't do light blue like AOB due to copyright or some other nonsense. I also believe that the AOB switches are slightly higher quality.

    Easy to take apart?

I supposed if people were OCd they could take it about like he did and remove it or dab a bit of grey paint or something on it..to tint / dim the light output. And then acetone it later if they change their mind.

Just a thought for all the motivated OCd TW bros out there....

This faulty sentence is most certainly my fault.

    upload_2021-3-16_7-18-10.jpg

But I don't think anybody even noticed anything on the cards until @daveeasa was kind enough to make them for everyone.

(Wow, I just noticed I last revised the original visor card pdf 3 years ago, probably 700,000 Tacoma's ago, that's crazy.)

I noticed and corrected my card with White Out and a pen last year. I didn't say anything because you know........not a grammar nazi.

I'll have to try that, I also find the always-on bright blue LED unnecessary. Thanks for posting this!

That’s awesome! I’ll definitely get you one of the corrected, non-witch cards once I order the next batch. I’m waiting for the signal from Brian. I rather like the errors, like a mis-strike on a coin blank making it more valuable. The grid of what is available and when seems like the key piece for us in the know and then the instructions are for someone like my dad or wife or if I have to walk someone through it over the phone.

Just wanted to drop in and thank you guys again for saving my clutch. I use the hell out of this button in my truck when we're out exploring and have to do tight trail turn arounds. 10/10!

I'm not an off-road guy, but I can totally see how it would be nice for trails. Especially fire roads where you don't really need 4WD, but want to be able to just cruise along. I use the hell out of the 2LM pretty much any time I drive the truck. It makes life so much easier, and yes saves my clutch even in normal driving situations.

I’m definitely keeping the card the way it is

Wiring harness looks awesome! Nice work on it. I think I just stared at it for 10 minutes in admiration

Just ordered the CH4x4 switch and completely forgot to put the discount code in

Going in the only blank spot I have. I need to invest in some switch plates!

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
    Officially 'in'.

I wanted this mod on my 06, now that I have a manual it is a must have.

I'm such a 3rd gen noob. Went and ordered a switch with white lighting not realizing the new switches have blue lighting in the trucks.

Oh well, good enough for who it's for.

Cheers to all involved in coming up with this beautiful mod.

I believe Lapoltba has a growing family which may be taking priority.

kmorgan3 has some options brewing in the meantime.
