    Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a budget friendly way of lifting/leveling my taco that's not a spacer lift. Has anyone here started out by installing 5100's in the front only? If so do you have pics? What size tires are you running? Are there any concerns/comments with this set up? I have an 08 TRD DC.

    Appreciate any input

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You can put them on all for corners as they will only lift the front.

    Thanks for the reply,

I understand that they will only lift the front, my question is, will I encounter any problems if I replace the fronts only and leave the rear stock?

I'm installing 5100''s on the front set at 2.5 and add-a-leaf on the back.

From what I understand, if you just want to level your truck, you can put 5100's on the front set at 1.75 with no add-a-leaf. With the 5100's set at 1.75, you shouldn't need new UCA's. However, if you set them at 2.5, you may need new UCA's

Mine arrived today. I'll be posting pics of my install when I get to it.

    Cheers.

I'm running 5100s on the front only set at .85 and the ride is fine. The rear is a little softer feeling but it is not an issue.

35% tint, TRD skidplate, whether techs, AFE-stage 2 intake, 5100's set at 0, eibach springs,17'' atx crawl,265/70/17 nitto trail grapplers, color matched grill
I just installed my 5100's last week set at .85 no problems at all. a 32'' tire on a stock rim will be fine at that height.

I started with the bilsteins set @ 1.75 and the 4 leaf pack TSB. My front sat higher than the rear by 1 ". So I added the 1 1/2" Toytec AAL now it sits 1/2 higher in the back perfect. Went with 265 /70 16 check out my newer pix . Also put the bilsteins in the back just so I have the same shocks all around. Rides is still good just stiffer. make sure you have an alignment after .

This may be a bit late but I thought I'd post it anyway. This guy put 5100's on the front and kept the rear stock. I think that's what I'm going to do also.
