Yesterday we visited my wife's Dad for the first time in a year. I introduced myself as "I'm Dennis, I'm married to your daughter"

I like that Firestone. I have the lifetime alignment which I think is every 6 months, but I've brought it in like 4 times in the last 6 months from bashing it into shit off road

 

Does that have a bobbed bed or are my eyes playing tricks on me?

 

I think that front 3/4 perspective just gives that appearance

Have anyone driven on Filley Rd, Mottland Rd, Jericho Rd, Turkey Hill Rd around Haddam CT recently? Are these light trail roads or paved roads?

 

They're dirt roads with a few off shoots. It's ok but the state keeps blocking the trails. But the ones you mentioned are dirt roads through Cockaponset state forest

So I have this clunking from the front. It seems to mostly happen when I take off, right as I come to a stop (You know how under a semi hard stop the truck rocks forward, then sits back down? It clunks as I go forward) or sometimes during a turn. I jacked it up, wiggled the wheels and no movement. I took them off and found nothing loose, the only thing I found was some slight UCA play. I just got it aligned at the Firestone in Brookfield and they mentioned my battery's CCAs were down to about 500 but nothing about bushings. Though I do get a little wobble at highway speeds but I was hoping it was a balance. Thoughts?

 

Have you had it aligned recently? I had a clunk similar to that. Turned out my alignment cams were tight enough that I couldn't move by hand but loose enough to turn easily with an 8" wrench. So not torqued to spec allowing movement of my LCAs under load of stopping or accelerating.

 

Yeah, aligned last week, still clunking, and before the alignment too. I'll check them though, thank you! 100lbs I believe right? Do I need to hold a wrench on the cams so tightening doesn't screw it up?

Never gonna end Bud Maybe the J&J will fight it. I've heard about one in S.A. thats resistant as well.

edit: I think this will be the flu in the next year or two. You get a shot for what variants are gonna be "hot" that season, and then next year re-appraise.
