I'll start by saying this is my first time at BHM, or organizing an event such as this, but here goes...

Toyota Owners of New York (TONY) is on the calendar for on April 17.

This event is open to anyone and everyone, but I thought it would be cool to get a good turnout of Toyotas from the area. Their Facebook page says "You can ride a stock Jeep on most trails," so no specific or significant mods are needed. I will be attending stock, with 265s, and will see where that takes me. So please, don't be intimidated. I'm expecting lots of mud at that time of year.

BHM is in the middle of no where, but in a really nice area, with tons of state forests. About an hour South of Syracuse, 30 min south east of Cortland, 40 min from Binghamton, 1.5 Hours from Scranton, 2 hours from Albany, and 3.5 hours from NYC. So not a bad drive from most of NY and surrounding areas.

$20 for drivers, $10 for passengers.

Please reply to this thread so I can give BHM a number by the end of March.

Further details (timing/meet up locations/etc.) to be determined.

I'm in. Thank you for taking lead on this event. Keep up the good work.

I'm definitely interested . Only about two and a half hours from me , so not too bad driving wise . Hopefully they have some easier green trails , I'm stock on all terrains presently .

Goddamn that's a long drive. Over 3 hours (Ok not that long, I'm just impatient).

    I'll be there though

2 other important things to look into is required/recommended equipment, and if possible take a ride there a week or so before the meet and do in person recon of the site so you have some idea of the lay of the land.

I'll be planning on it. The easy side there should be fun enough for most of us.

I created an event on the FB group to mirror this.

Yes, I will be going in late March/early April to get an idea of the trails. Thanks for thinking about required equipment, I will look into that as well

I followed Jeeps through most of it with 32" Duratracs and didn't need to get pulled out of anything. There is a tighter / rockier part of the park that I did not check out, though.

They weren't checking for any particular equipment, so we will have to look out for each other. I was happy to have skids+sliders in a couple of spots. But if you don't have them, you can just drive smarter.

I88 to Oneonta and then west. I used to cover that whole area for work. Don’t eat at the yellow deli.

As we get closer I’ll setup a convoy from the Albany area.

Yes to both!!! I have a 2010 and bought it new. Still no mods. After I see everyone's car, I might lose my mind.
