Fuck dude sorry to hear that. I hope you’re good! That’s honestly one of my bigger fears driving a vehicle since I haven’t had to deal with blow out or suspension failure on the move. They should replace everything damaged obviously but let me know if you need any help local!

sweet. one thing i would suggest is either running a brace from the 2 pieces running front to back, or make a third one in the middle from front to back

this is how mine turned out. i did this so much out of order. should have done all the carpet stuff first, then cut the wood, then drilled the holes. but it all works and im more than happy how it turned out.

also, finished my back seat platforms

I'm not using wood, I've got some 3/8 starboard I'm using instead. If I need another support no biggie. I spent the weekend trying to waterproof every possibly ingress of water, only to realize it's the hinge on the windoors and there's no way to fix it. I thought about the carpet kit, that looks sweet, but they don't make it for the long bed

Thats for a 3rd gen? Either way I decided against it cause I can't stop the water leak. Aluminum would have been nice but I can barely get steel to stick together, I'm not ready for aluminum yet

And I wouldn’t have welded aluminum. Would have used it instead of wood.

Damn! I wouldn't have even given it a second thought driving out of there myself, I am way too trusting. Glad to hear you're ok but it sucks to spend so much time and effort on your truck to have it messed up due to someone else's negligence. I hope they do you right!

For anyone interested in the "no wood" platform saga, this is what $340 gets you in 3/8 starboard. Haven't decided if I want to drop another couple hundo on starboard for the drawer yet or if I'm going to go with something else. Definitely need that center support between the two panels though. Half inch might have been stuff enough, but 3/8 is not. Also going to add one more 1" square tube in front with bolts through the top hole of the bed stiffeners

Who has a junkyard they recommend, fuck picknpull. They called me yesterday saying the vehicle was up in the air. I asked if I could come in tomorrow and get the parts they said sure no problem. Well I show up there today and not only is the truck still on the ground the truck they have listed on the “notes” to be picked up is the completely wrong truck

Does anyone know a good place to go around Issaquah area to get an exhaust re-route done? If not there, I guess anywhere within 100ish miles?
