    Good Lord...............

Don't know your lumber prices in BC, but those would be under lock/key or armed guard here........if you could get them.

I found a full sheet of 3/4 exterior glue plywood in the back of my garage yesterday. I’m thinking I can retire off it’s black market value.

Exactly. We were faced with underlayment ply to build up to 3/4"+ stone tile floor for the entire house vs. staying retired and using fancy transition reducers.

It'd be funny if not true. There's a black market for lumber here.

Built our home in 2019. Kept 30 sheets of ½" OSB for ground equipment to drive on for future landscaping project. Sent them back last week for credit. Good Grief, estimate $25k higher lumber charge on our home if we'd build today.

It’s totally insane how much is going up. I saw someone on a flooring installation Facebook group post a photo of a sheet of 3/4” ply at Home Depot with a price tag of $96 :bananadead:

Bought 4 sheets of cabinet grade A-1 birch plywood last week. Asked rep to double check the price quote. Twice.

Told my rep at the other lumber yard to call an hour before sending truck to pick up OSB. Should have known something was up when he said it would be within the hour (typically would be 2-3 days).

Driver and I spoke when we were loading, said they were going directly to jobsites, not back to the yard.

Rep said their current lumber package quotes are good for 72 hours and subject to adjustment. Laughed and asked how that was going over with GC's. No one was complaining, all passed on to the end buyer.

As Pablo mentioned in his post, more of an issue of availability at any price.

Milwaukee brushless “Fuel” is fantastic. I have both the 18v and 12v and would recommend either of them.

heard great things about Makita as well but no expierence with them.

Ryobi is hard to beat from a budget perspective, I have a lot of their tools but was not that happy with their brushless drill, I took that back.

Exactly the two I was checking out. Has been a long while since i bought anything new. I guess I'm ready to buy once cry once again.

Big project this summer is tree house. 8x14. It's gonna be HUUUGE. but lumber prices got me thinking about delaying for a bit.
