While slugging away on my BHLM I did this only by opening the oven ha. So far one headlight sprayed, amber acrylic piece made, side marker smoked. Both headlights opened very easy. To anyone the key is bake and bake and bake ha. 10 min at 300 was good to start. Had a fancy panel clip remover but didn’t end up using it. Best tool is a flat head screwdriver. Will update when get further along.

I follow Tc lighting on instagram. Had no idea that was you. Cool shirts!

I just finished installing my DIY BHLM with the the Meso stage 2s you supplied me. Very cool looking. Everything went ok. Took a crazy amount of time! What do you all do with all the wires and control boxes? I have Meso stage 2s, DD amber drls and pivot halos. Thats a lot of wires! I've got some work ahead of me cleaning it all up and making it neat.

Yup that’s me! I always make some sort of harness that consolidates as much of the wiring as possible. Then just coil up and zip tie everything as neatly as possible. You can certainly mount all the drivers, with some double side tape/Velcro if you wish.

Hey all, just putting my truck back together after installing my headlights.

I did not pull my front bumper, I merely unclipped it. Worked great for the drivers side, went back together in 3 seconds.

Now on the passenger side I’m running into a problem where it seems I can’t get the bumper to fit back over the black tab (the one that the side headlight bolt goes through). Almost as if the very last clip on the black piece won’t seat perfectly.

    Anyone have this happen? Suggestions?

Here’s a pic of how the bumper sits, this is with me forcing it over the black tab in the fender well but it won’t click all the way into the black clip piece to sit flush.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
That black piece it clips into may have moved slightly when you removed the headlight bolt It may just need to move up or down just slightly. Loosen the bolt, move it just a little up or down and re-tighten. May take a couple of tries.

I have a set of good condition oem headlights sitting on my shelf here if anyone is interested in a build. Add $300 to any of my listed pricing. This isn't something that ill have available often, so now might be your chance!

He sure does! Had this thread saved for a good while and no stranger to retro fits but the last 2 sets I had for my 2gen was just OK. But after seeing the work on the quad retro's he did a while back that my buddy got from him and talking to Kevin...it was time to for new lights.
