Doesn’t change pitch or anything when turning. Maybe driveshaft? Seems like the tires all harmonize right at that speed. The vibrations coincide with the womp womp sound and if I have the trailer it will buck the rear end up and down. Empty, it shakes the tire carrier. Here’s a bad video of going between 30-45-30

Take the shaft to a driveline shop and get th to rebalance it.

 

Well fuck, @JBTacoma wasnt lying about AOP cutting tires. Just found this today.

 

Need tires with thicker sidewalls. I suggest some MT

 

The noise sounds like tires to me and you could have a tire issue. I'd take the tires somewhere they can road force them and show you the #s.

It’s 3ply sidewall... got it right in the flat spot lol

 

Mickey Thompson's not Mud terrains. The slashes I have on mine aren't even close to hitting the cord in the sidewalls and they are just as deep or deeper.

 

I think it might be a defective tire. There are also slashes on the tread and all the other tires don’t have a scratch on them

 

I’m going to try inflating higher and see if that changes anything. Maybe less contact patch will change the sound. I got them balanced (not road force) as a first round effort to solve it. Might have gotten a little better, but not 100%

 

I wouldn't say that all depends on how the slashes are and you chewing them up on a rock a bit. Some tires are more susceptible to this than others. It could just be that one slipped on a sharp rock or something the others didn't

 

I’ve got some wear and scratches on mine, so maybe I’m missing some weights?

 

I haven't thrown a weight yet on mine. But offroading wears the tires funky and can throw the balance off. As well the road force can be high causing noise and poor ride quality

I had the same shaking at 60+. One of my front tires was missing some weights. Got them rotated and balanced, added extra 4psi to each tire and my wobbling was gone!

 

My front driver tire was on some serious jagged rocks that I though oh crap when I went on them. Somehow nothing happened.
