    Georgia Traverse weekend camping trip Friday 4/23, Saturday 4/24 and Sunday 4/25. We are planning on doing top portion of Big Frog Loop.

    Camp Spot on Friday:
    Hickey Gap Forest Service Camping Area (If possible. If not the dispersed camping spot we have used the last two times.)

    Without bombing through it, roughly how long does it take to do the whole thing kinda taking your time sight seeing getting out and doing some of the hikes. etc.?

    Frog looks would be good to plan out about 2 days for the full thing not rushing. You could drive meet us and then hit parts of the traverse back towards NC. It ends in SC.

    Where is frog on the map? Is that on the AL/GA border area? I was really thinking of going another time and taking some time to do the whole thing and really sight see with the kiddo.

    If you don't mind a tag-along, I'd be off until April 27th. I'd ride the traverse up to SC and then come home. I think most of the "sight seeing" comes on that side anyway.

    It’s over near blue ridge GA. You really could make a trip out of it. Just drive interstate to the look and then you can follow the gps routes of the traverse all the way back to NC

    Yea it’s a good time. Nice relaxing days out by the camp fire and sight seeing out in the woods. There’s a bunch f good fishing streams too. There’s a lake I want to go check out too next time over that way.
