No trimming, but I don't have the mud flaps any longer. I also don't have the front of the fender liner flap thing either.

To clarify this because I see people make this mistake all the time. What Adam said here is true, IF you stay with the stock wheels.

Just got them installed today and I can say no rubbing whatsoever. I do not have any mud flaps just to throw that in there also. The factory kevlar tires were not very good in my opinion. I got a nail in them and they were pretty much unable to get repaired. Plus at just hitting 19k they were almost to 3/32nd and hardly ever taken off road. My initial impressions of the KO2's are nice so far, feels like a better ride.

KO2’s 265/75/16r, no lift no rubbing.

I know this is an old thread, but after debating back and forth (with myself) if I should stay with silver wheels or get the black and silver OR wheels, but thinking it may be too much black, I finally did it and purchased brand “spanking” new 2020+ TRD Pro wheels, thanks to the latest stimulus check. But darn, I’ve been waiting for the center caps which have been on backorder since late March.
Now I ain’t about to insult the Pro wheels by mounting these OEM Firestone tires on ‘em, so I’m trying to decide on tires. I definitely want a 265/75r16 all-terrain, so the truck will look like a truck. I’m looking forward to the wider tires, plus the extra 1/2 of negative offset.
The Duratracs which come in the “Off Road Package” look great, but that would be so impractical (and stiff and noisy) for a 2wd that’s 95% on pavement.
Considering the Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo Open Country, Goodyear Trailrunner, Bridgestone Deuler Revo and Cooper Discoverer AT/4s.
Based on what I’ve read here, the tread pattern, and the fact that I had, and liked, the older version of Discoverer AT on my F-150, that’s the tire I should get.
Are you still satisfied with your choice?
What other tires did you consider?

    thanks,

Good choice on wheels. I like the Coopers, they have done well so far. A little vibration and needed to be rebalanced a couple times.wear is good, but I only have 14k miles on them so far. Thinking of getting the new Toyos next.

...because I’ve been heavily leaning towards these, more aggressive look and I had the coopers (you know, been there; done that. )

    also,

did you put black lugs in straightaway, or tried your original chrome for a while?

I’m thinking of trying the chrome first, since I’ll already have so much black, and it’s a proven look on all trd pro wheels up until the 2020’s came out.

Yes, those are the ones. Lots of good reviews here on TW about them. IMO they are very similar to the Coppers with just a little more sidewall tread.

    Cool! Thanks!

Ordered the black lugs from ebay ahead of time.

Now that I’ve viewed tons of photos of black 2021 TRD Pro’s with the black lugs, my OCD will not tolerate the chrome for too long.

I’m sure the cheap $24 lugs on Amazon will rust in no time.

I guess I better order the Oem black lugs. Do you have the exact oem part no. ?

    And these:4BC01D36-309D-4D6C-BFBB-FCDCFC89E70F.jpg

Center caps should be here next week.

Already have my local tire shop getting me 4 265/75r16 Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S tires for mounting next week.

    Can hardly wait!

Just found this thread and have gone about 10 pages back. Does anyone who frequents this thread know if anyone's posted a cement grey with these wheels on?
