Imo I think it looks good, I think the only thing you could do to make it look better would be to do the pinch weld below as well.

Umm... Well, I guess if you're ASKING for opinions, I'm thinking it's not something I would do. I'd probably point at it driving by and say "WTF..." out loud. But, if you're happy, and it does what you want it to, then I'm glad you did it for yourself. I bought mine used and it has PAINTED on pinstripes- I'll get pics up sometime... anyway, I get alot of compliments on them, but I look at them and wish I could remove them. To each their own. Glad you're gonna run it into the dirt over and over again, because I think you did shoot yourself in the foot if you ever want to sell or trade it in.

Rich B- I like the contrast on your photoshop pics, but I think I'd go with black fender flares, or mayber bushwacker-style in black. It looks broken up with the black lower and silver flares. I agree with earlier posters about the colors- the blue and black looks funny on the op's truck, and I just don't know why- looks like it's from the 80's- almost like Ponch and John are gonna roll up to write a ticket. Then smile and be frozen for the end shot.

Anything I could say has already been said. That's HIDEOUS, and you totally ruined the paint.

Your decision, your sweat and most of all,......your truck! If you like it, then enjoy it.

But since you ask for opinions, mine is, you ruined a perfectly good paint job. I am sure that you will have a hard time cleaning mud off it.

Just picked mine up today. I had MaxGuard put on lower sides. Also had "TACOMA" emblems removed from sides. Will post better photos soon.

Looks okay, As long as you like what you got. I like the fender flares so I kept mine on. I also did not go as high up on the sides. Here is Cell phone picture:

This looks a lot better than the blue one. I think the flares on the blue one are what make it look like crap

That is not exactly what I would of done but you should be proud of doing something different. At least now you are 40% closer to doing the whole truck. :D
