What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

It's a good combination of mid bass and highs. Some may prefer 2/3 ways up front but the sound may be to bright. Atleast for me and in all my past vehicles, I've always done components and it sounds best for the wide variety of music I play. Total preference really.

 

Pay a small child to do it, their small hands are best adapted to getting into all of the nooks and/or crannies. Other options include giving a coke- head a straw and tell them there is high quality Bolivian snow mixed into the dust.

Your truck looks great! What is that winch setup? I've never seen that before.

 

I finally installed my OEM AM/FM antenna base, rubber piece and nut. I can't get the nut tight until I find the correct tool for it.

I also was able to install the passenger a-pillar trim now that the antenna is connected inside the truck.

 

Got the old girl dirty and tested out the rci skids.... they work btw

Got some Depo smoked headlights, sealed them with silicone and installed them over the weekend; I need to aim them before I go riding around blinding folks. Got a rivnut tool and rivnuts to replace the mounting points for the tailgate cover in prep for getting a Mobtown tailgate reinforcement in the future. Looking for a good accessory mount for my phone and a tablet on my dash but most things don't seem to cater to an old '09 taco (even the 2nd gen stuff is newer 2nd gen only). Waiting on some parts and tools to finish relocating my back up camera onto my mobtown bumper.

 

I'd use a shop vac and some brushes.
Small 1" paint brush maybe.

 

And some beer to keep the dust out of your throat
