Hey man!

Any interest in bringing the T4R up for some light wheeling?

I'd love to do it and have been kind of working that direction but don't want to step on your guy's toes and also need a place with dedicated 220v don't fully trust my "pulse mig" welds running off the on demand generator.

My little Lincoln is alright and has served me well but I want to get a GTAW and maybe a larger GMAW machine with a higher duty cycle.

Would love to, but I'm flat broke. Didn't get the last two stim checks and the IRS thinks I owe them $9k because of a clerical error on my 2019 return. Thankfully I got that straightened out yesterday I think.

Edit: on the bright side, at least I got shot.

 

Pulling out of all work. No more cab mount chops lift installs. Everything is done if someone wants to buy a otc extreme strut compressor with stand let me know. Only thing I will be selling. Also have a ton of cmc plates if someone wants a set

when I told my dad I sold the bike he was upset but understood why I sold the triumph. He mentioned a comment that hit home. Said well at least we got to ride together once for the year you had it. I got one because he did so we could ride together. I never made time because I was always busy. Pops is getting older. So am I and my daughter. Time doesn’t wait so I have to do something about missing out on so much.

 

Life is to short not to enjoy it.

Thursday I'm heading up to the Georgia Traverse if anyone else wants to follow me.

Light trails and wheeling is expected, stock trucks should be okay from what I've heard.

With the rain we've had it will probably be a little slick and muddy though.

I may have asked this here before. Anywhere to drive on the beach besides Daytona? Looking for somewhere near me in Sebastian/Vero/ Melbourne?

 

Kind of reminds me of when I worked 10-12 hours during the day, was also on call 24/7 and in addition did midnight to dawn work at least once or twice every week. Four hours of crappy sleep in two days time was normal.
The money was great but most importantly I missed several years of quality time with my grand kids. The first time after burnout/early retirement I went to the fair with some of them. They thought I didn't like rides because I never went with them before. They were amazed that I actually did. I say better to be broke than not spend time with close family!!!

 

I am just now eating, I finished work on the rig just after 1. That's 16+ hours of truck work after being up and going to job work from 7p the day before.

But hey she's ready enough to go on a trip and learn what it is I'm forgetting now.

 

You'll have to let me know how the trip goes. I've been wanting to go up and do the full traverse (with a return trip through Talladega National Forest) for a while. Travel for work has been nuts for the past couple of years, but I've got a couple of guys working for me now, so I should be able to get back to taking actual vacations soon.
