KD Max Performance tune will help that sluggish feeling. I did that with an injen evo 2200 cold air intake with ram system. The cold air intake only gives horsepower gains in high rpms, but it sure makes the truck sound cool. Magnuson makes a bolt on supercharger kit though.

    I love that rack!

I have been thinking about all the racks on the market for the roof and then all of the racks on the market for the bed. I think what I might do is just go OEM on the roof since I am not carrying a lot of weight on the roof anyway, and then do the Leitner for the bed since it really is the best. My understanding is that the two racks that mount to the bed floor (as opposed to the bed sides) are the Leitner and the one from BAMF (which is also really great).

That is the current thinking ...

I've taken mine through countless touchless washes without issue, it's not even loose.

did it myself. I bought this Satuday and sanded it to bare metal as it was pretty chewed up. Got impatient and just sprayed it with primer and some flat black bbq paint

I put in my LED bed lights and “installed” my bed mat.

How are you guys securing your mat from theft? Maybe I should bolt it down.

I have those sitting in the garage waiting for me to install. How difficult was it?

Did you use the “wet” method or just peel them off and stick them on?

Had the fuel pump recall finally completed today. Also had the TSB 0092-20 done for the tranny shifting issue. Only drove it 5 miles after that and noticed an improvement on the shifting - seems to be more “normal”, whatever that is. Mine was always flipping between 3rd, 4th, and what I assume was the torque converter locking up - up and down and back and forth, etc.

I see people talking about this alot. I would loveto get some more info on it.
Specifics, like how much does it improve the power, torgue, shift points, etc. Actual numbers. A dyno comparison would be awesome.

Is there somewhere I can check all this out? Anecdotal stuff. like " it feels a little better" means little to me.

The reason I would like factual data is that I have seen people say OV tunes are great, but then others say it improves it like the ETC button, maybe a little better. That would not be worth it to me. I would like something that I can definitly say yes! this is WAY better.
Anywhere you or somone could point me to get good actual numbers from comparisons?

I replaced the OEM Tacoma Oil Filler Cap Housing with a stubby one. More on this over here.

Time for a CBI battery tray, a Northstar Group 31 Battery, and a KDMax 6.0 Wifeytip tune with the AGM Voltage Boost by @PapaRee .

There's a good "battery upgrade" write-up on Trail Tacoma over at: trailtacoma com/2020/05/21/cbi-offroad-battery-tray-install-2nd-3rd-gen-tacoma/. (add the DOT after trailtacoma)

Cab mount chop! 285/70/r17 Duratracs on Procomp 7069's still rubbing slightly on the plastic liner while offroading but nothing the heatgun can't fix.
