I ordered a set of TIMBREN TORTUN4 for mine to help when I’m hauling my travel trailer. I measured them up when they arrived and I would have less than 1/4” between them and the frame. I’m worried about the ride empty. I read a review where someone with a 3rd Gen TRD OR went with the 4Ls and was happier with the clearance. Think I’ll exchange them for the 4Ls? What are you running?

Whats up with the sharp piece of metal? This your way of making sure you always have a flat when you don't need it?

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Looks like it was tacked on for an easy ground point for welding.

you can order them to have the letters. They offer all the colors of the trucks as well. I only had them on the rear to match how toyota use to do it

Yeah, I read through quite a bit of that thread. It all sounds pretty good. Some seem to have had some issues with slower speed. I think I would prefer to have sonics near by to do it for me so do any tweaks that it may need aren't a pain. I'm not in to doing it myself.

I got TORTUN4 rears and TOFTUN4 for fronts. If you ordered them from Amazon I'd check for where they are made, I noticed that some Amazon vendors sell knockoff made in china, all true Timbren should say Made in Canada :canada:or contact @Timbren-Industries for an approved vendor.

The following dynos are from the main OV tune thread. There were many more at one time but Mat from OV tune has since taken them down. I have had one form or another of his tunes for almost 3 years and have been very happy with them. Just over a year ago I upgraded to his 2.0 THX tune 91 octane which I thought was a performance tune but was only an enhanced throttle tune so I went back to the 1.05 performance 93 octane tune. These tunes are for the 91-93 octane since I was looking for an increase in torque and power. Although I have VF tuner I decided to wait for his updated performance 2.0 tune which has been promised for awhile. Hope this helps.

The covers work great and are cheaper than black lug nuts. I actually have mine taken off right now just for a little different look.

The bracing and truss-like structure make the rack look great while also adding strength. Form follows function...love it! If only a Softopper could fit under that thing...

Hey, I see that you went with the "No Drill" version. I get why that's appealing, however, do the vertical support posts sit inward from the wheel wells at all? I guess my biggest concern would be the width of the opening.

I love hearing your comments about it! Thanks for the inspiration. I am not sure I can drill into my truck with any confidence. Beer may be necessary!

The other thing I like about it is they openly publish their weight specifications:

    Off-Road Dynamic Weight Capacity | 400
    On-Road Dynamic Weight Capacity | 800
Parked Static Weight Capacity | 1400

Not sure any other racks have that high a capacity -- which is another selling point.
