This just made my day. Such a busy day I didnt get to read early. Man, I love my truck even more. If youre doing all this, just like WOW. I can't believe the CV Axles or even the driveshafts are holding up and everything lol. Do you think once you run more boost on the street, launch hard etc maybe then you will break it? Since you got unlimited throttle now! That was always stopping you before was the throttle limits!. Keep on going! Love it all! 3rd gen is best gen haha

Hi. This is a thread specifically about turbos. No one wants to answer your question here, and has already told you where to find the information you’re looking for. Have a stupendous day.

My old tracking got dumped by UPS, maybe this time it will happen.

Still wondering what 14 psi will look like on the dyno... Looking at hp/tq past 5.5k rpm, not going to look good for 10 + psi. Definitely getting choked up top.

    Well, reinstalled my DT y-pipe.

Actuator arm tension must be fairly tight (I'm assuming) because I went from 6psi max to now hitting 7 and then tapering immediately to 6 lol and I could swear there's a bit of a rasp that I'm fairly certain wasn't there the first time the y-pipe was installed. But of course now I'm second-guessing myself and wondering if it was always there.

    Always something...

Not necessarily, since I started off with the y-pipe while doing map revisions.

I'd taken it off as part of narrowing down my overboosting issues. I reached the "just drive it" phase a long time ago

So I got under the truck again after work today and re-loosened and re-tightened the bolts connecting the passenger side downpipe to the y-pipe.

I'm certain of the exhaust leak if that's what it is coming from that passenger side. It's not as loud on the driver side and when at cold start, high idle it's a pronounced sound from over there.

Hard to tell if it's from higher up, like where the turbo/mani is but from what I can see, I don't think so...not to mention the only variable is the y-pipe.

Regardless, it's makes a sort of buzz sound when decelerating and a definite exhaust leak type sound on high idle or under acceleration.

There's a bit of space for whatever reason where the pipes meet but it looks sealed up within by the gasket...ugh. almost as if the gasket is too large even though I know it's the right size

Need to send Mat a datalog tomorrow since the acceleration seems inconsistent now. I'm assuming due to the small exhaust leak and because the truck is no longer seeing 10psi like it was the last time this y-pipe was installed.

Re-loosened and re-tightened while shifting the pipes upward to try for better alignment, I think it was successful only in that I seem to now only hear the sound I'm hearing at idle from [decidedly] the area around where the turbo sits. So I'm wondering if I'm just hearing shit because I think it's there, if it's normal and I never noticed, or if something's loose in that area.
