I have just read a couple threads that were cracking me up.

Guys crying about their trucks being gone, boo efffing hooo.

And Girlie men crying about getting dumped.

And most of these BOYS are the ones that talk the "Tough Guy Shit" on this site

Now is the time to put up and show 'em.

Let's separate the MEN from you wittle girls out there. Tell your best story.

Here is just one of mine.

    - - - Story start - - -

Three years ago I was out riding my quad south of Phoenix. Long story short.

Went into a berm short, dropped my inside leg, it turns 180 degrees, my leg and tore my ACL.

Leg now flexes side to side. Right? Wrong.

I have a older quad, kick start, no reverse and I am 4 miles from my truck. Mind you I have a cell phone with me. Do I start crying and call mommy?

HELLFUCKNO! i COWBOY THE FUCK UP AND take my jersey off, rap that fucker as tight as I can to emobilize my knee. Gather my wits for I was going into shock. Did I mention July in Arizona 110°?

So I get it together, kick start that pig with my right leg, figure the mechanics fellas, slowly road back to my truck. Loaded my rig up, changed out of my riding boots. You know what I am talking about and drove home, dropped off my bike and head to the ER!

And did it all without a call...

show 'em if you got 'em

And to all our service folks, firemen, cops, you are the BIGGEST COWBOYS OF THEM ALL.
My heros and I SALUTE you all, and thank you for all the work you do.

    Thanks for being there.

    Lots.
I bet some military guys have some good stories.

Mine, I gave CPR to a kid in my class while the rest of the class stood dumbfounded at what was going on.

    No asking HOW TOUGH.

Saving a life isn''t being manly, it is showing you have a head on your shoulders and you don't fold under pressure when shit hits the fan.

Rename the thread if it helps you.

    Tell your story.

    Here's mine. Kinda crazy.

I decided it was time to extend the cow pasture a little further up the hillside. Sharpened my machete, jumped on the quad and rode up to the fence line. Started clearing a path so i could put up new fence. To make a long story short, there was a big branch blocking the path where i wanted to go so i hit it real hard with the machete. It was rotten, machete went straight through it and into my leg about 3 inches. Cut the artery or vein or whatever makes blood squirt out of your leg. I took off my shirt and tied it around my thigh. I was about 200 feet from my quad and about 2 miles from the house. Made it to the quad somehow. Got about 300 yards from the house and passed out. Shock or blood loss, im not sure. Wrecked the quad into a tree. Broke my nose and gashed my lip. I could stick my tongue through my upper lip and touch my nose. Dont know how long i was out. maybe a few seconds. Flipped the quad back over and drove home. Didnt drive to the ER though. Maybe im a wimp...lol Had my neighbor take me.

28 stitches in the leg and 12 in the lip. Broken front bumper and rack on the quad. New handle bars. 3 days in the hospital. I didnt respond too well to the blood they gave me.

Now that is all VERY fuzzy to me. But from what i can gather from the damage to the quad, the blood trail, and the damaged tree, this is what i think happened.

Not sayin im tough by any means. It hurt like hell and i probably cried like a baby...hahah. and the worse part was the needles in the lip to numb it before the stitches.

Went off a jump snowboarding in the mountains, first big air i ever took, completely messed up my weight balance and half-flipped sideways mid air. Knocked myself the fuck out and broke my left wrist. When I came to I got up and boarded down the rest of the mountain to the ski patrol. Had a concusion and put on Oxygen.
