Hey Guys! I bent my passenger side lower control arm and knuckle, If anyone has some for sale, please PM me.

If anyone has replaced their LCA's with aftermarket, please let me know how you like them. Dealership wants $1600 to replace LCA and knuckle, or I can get total chaos LCA's for $1600 and who knows how much for a knuckle and just do the work myself.

(I've also been pondering the Long Travel route but $4000 just for the front makes me feel like an idiot for even considering it)

That sucks man. I've never had to do one but I have the air tools and compressor if you want to borrow them or I'll give you a hand one weekend. If you're looking for other options, there's a shop on Route 35 in Eatontown called Rayco. They're very reasonable with prices and they've done a lot of work for me over the years that I didn't finish. Usually at less than half what the dealer wanted. Perfect example, a friend of mine just had them replace his catalitic converter for $250. The Chevy dealer wanted $900. The owners name is Steve. It's pretty much run by him and his son (I think his name is Jake).

I sold my LCAs awhile ago. Most of the LT guys will have their old stuff lying around.

Total Chaos, Camburg, DMZ, and All Pro will sometimes have customer take-offs in the shop. Worth sending out some feelers.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help. I just got it back from the shop today (after doing the 15,000 mile service and finding that i need a new lca and knuckle) and I think I can manage to get around for a little while longer.. hopefully until tax returns or my bonus from work, and then I hope to either just replace both LCA's with something better than stock, or if I'm feeling really crazy.. maybe swap to Long Travel.

MJP2- I'd really like to check out your truck before I think too seriously about
going LT.. What are you running? I know some people do use their LT trucks as daily drivers but do you think it's a good idea or is it kinda ridiculous? I dont wanna spend all that money and be like "damn.. im stupid as hell, this is not something I can drive all over in"

Who all has tinted windows here? I called a shop to get some pricing for my regular cab and the shop told me that the only window they can tint legally is the rear window. The windows on my truck are basic non-tinted clear glass. My '99 extended cab had tinted rear and rear-side windows and even the main sides and windshield had a light safety tint. Would like to get at least something. So my question is who has it here and what % are you getting away with without getting pulled over?
