I am the opposite. I don't really care what the truck looks like on the outside. I wash it once a month. But I detail the inside extensively. I just hate sitting in a dirty truck or car.

Thanks! She’s coming along. I have rough country front leveling spacers and Toytec rear blocks. When I first bought the truck I was too impatient to wait to upgrade the suspension. I just ordered the OME BP-51 kit.

I just pulled the trigger on the X2Power Group 31 battery found over here (pickup), the CBI Battery tray found here (free shipping), eBay heavy duty 10" J-hooks found here, and the @PapaRee wifeytip AGM 4:88 gearlock tune found over here. Also, I recently swapped out the filler neck as seen here to make room for the bigger battery.

Finally took mine in for the recall on the fuel pump today. While at the dealer they performed the TSB-0092-20 (transmission) and Reprogrammed the ECM. It made a noticeable difference.... for the better.

What is the TSB-0092-20 (transmission) and the ECM. Do I need that for a 21 model.

I’m liking the decal, not the rail. I think the end caps for the rail cost more than the rail itself. BTW, you need a couple end caps

Painted the border bezel and installed the DMM

It’s not perfect - definitely imperfections but really not that bad tbqh. And it really does look good in the truck (better than that damn grey, that’s for sure).

And this was more expensive to do than I thought it would be - both in that I used higher quality painting supplies and had to get a sander/polisher (to do it right).

At some point in the future (far in the future), I’ll probably yank it all off - sand down the clear coat, re-apply another base coat, re-apply clear coat and then do the whole sanding, cutting and polishing again. But for now - very pleased with the results.

(And the newly installed DMM from @FreshMexicanTaco ’s taco garage as well!)

I did notice that when I put it up that it didn’t have the caps. I’ll see if I can find any online if not I’ll go to a junkyard and ask if they have any Tacoma’s around I do need to get a bike wheel mount for it though.

Got an alignment today. Right toe was in too much (per tech). I remember 'nudging" a curve about a year ago. I just noticed the steering wheel isn't straight. It's slightly to the right. I'm taking it back tomorrow. I'm sure they did a "lazy" toe adjustment.
